There are so many self professing Christians who can recite all the hymns, proclaim and write all the verses on their door posts, desire to be in Heaven someday all day long but never dare desire the reproach of Christ.
As the Ancient Christians delighted in their sufferings for the gospel, today’s Christians shy away even from proclaiming their God in Public. This is a kind of them that Don’t go all the way.
In the early church, the name Christian was associated with persecution and they were first called Christian at Antioch for they carried the reproach of the accursed man who was once hanged on the Tree
Acts 11:25 Then departed Barnabas to Tarsus, for to seek Saul:
Acts 11:26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. *And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.
These disciples were first Called Christians at Antioch. However in this same chapter, we discover that Antioch and the surrounding towns were places of great persecution. These disciples were called Christian not as a belonging to a religion or a certain church but rather they carried the Reproach of the man who was hanged on a tree.
They called them Christian therefore as a symbol of rejection for their calling was a lonely calling of suffering.
Child of God, it has been grunted on behalf of Christ, that we believe in Him but more so that we suffer for Him, nonetheless this grieves me that we have so many with a name but without a true living for Christ.
These ladies in the church aren’t ashamed to cross dress as homosexuals in Trousers. The church openly rejects suffering for the truth of true morality in dressing. Women come in the church with fake nails, fake hair, skimpy dresses and all is acceptable for we hate the reproach and the rejection.
Isaiah 4 prophesied a church that will come. A people who only desire the name of Jesus but deny the Cross of Jesus
Let it be known that whoever Denies the Lord before men will be denied to enter his kingdom. A Christian who rejects suffering and reproach to appease the society cannot be a Christian.
Jesus said Matthew 10:32-33
Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
Who was Jesus talking about? He was talking about a people that he will deny on that day for they never had his reproach. They claimed to say that God checks their hearts but actually they didn’t proclaim the name of the Lord. The burden of Evangelism and missions was never on them. They denied the cause of righteousness and chose to compromise because they wanted favor before their families. To them Christianity was a religion not a life of unto death and total dedication to the cross of Jesus Christ.
If you asked them, are you willing to meet Jesus Christ in the coming rapture? They would say, Yes. I want to leave this world, I wanna go to Heaven but if you asked them, Are you willing do die for the sake of the cause of the gospel? Are you willing to shed blood because you are burden for the faith? You would be surprised at how many would say, Lord send me.
What is Christianity without death?
Paul cried that God will be glorified even in my death. He desired God to be glorified by his death. He was willing to be ready sacrifice for the Lord
He preached the word of righteousness without Fear or Favor burned with this gospel of righteousness.
Ohh beloved. How long shall we deny his reproaches? How long shall we proclaim without dying all the way.
In these end times, only the deep Christian will overcome. Only the man who is burdened with a mission will see his coming.
The Lord will not take a cowardice church but a gloriously church filled with the burden of the gospel of Jesus Christ. He will find working & serving their redeemer even to the cause of death.
Brethren, if Paul needed death unto Christ in his generation, we need a double portion of the death that worked in Paul for how can we look on when Homosexuals parade themselves and mock our Lord.
The spirit of God cries and speaks expressly, I AM LOOKING FOR A PEOPLE OF BURDEN, A PEOPLE OF A ZEAL, A PEOPLE THAT MY SPIRIT WILL MOVE FOR GOSPEL.
Beloved I am not yet there but I will.
I have purposed that all my remaining days will be devoted to Christ Alone
As it written Philippians 1:21
For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.
Brethren, I don’t want to just proclaim him, I desire to live for Him for this is mine, even to have the reproaches of my Lord.
Christ’s best soldiers are not found in pews seated always learning but rather in the field with a mission‘s heart.
A heart that cries, ABBA. FATHER give us souls.
Ohh beloved. We can determine to dedicate ourselves to this cause. Regardless the reproach, we are appointed even for the that.
