THE POWER OF CONSECRATION

The Bible describes Job as the Greatest man in The East. Amongst all the men, all the Kings, all the rich, all the poor, Job was in the eyes of God seen to be the greatest man in the East.

One might say, he was probably great because of his much substance, another might say, Job had beautiful daughters and so on but beloved, there’s no other reason for Job’s greatness than his life of consecration and dedication unto God. Amongst all the men of the East, Job had a special place of Greatness even the eyes of God.
Men view greatness differently from God but God sees greatness from one’s way of life. True greatness can be mirrored through the life of Job and his experiences. As it is written

Job 1:1 There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.
The Bible teaches us that Job  was a man BLAMELESS, UPRIGHT, FEARING GOD & TURNED HIS HEART FROM EVIL.

Job’s greatness amongst all the men of the East came from the fact that this man was perfect & upright. In Job, there was no guile and he was such a man without fault.

But how did Job reach even to be so perfect with God and fellow man? Beloved, Job understood the Power of Consecration. He set his life apart for God. Consecration was the power behind the righteous life of Job. I believe unless a man is consecrated, this cannot Be Holy & Perfect.
The scripture teaches us that when men are given to vanity, when men are given to what profits not, God sets apart a people who will be set apart. He will never move with a people who haven’t consecrated their lives unto the Will of God
As it written Psalm 4:2-3
How long will you people turn my glory into shame?  How long will you love delusions and seek false gods
Know that the Lord has set apart his faithful servant for himself ;the Lord hears when I call to him.

There’s a longing in Heaven for a people who will consecrate themselves unto God but none seems to understand. Many of God’s children profess him on their lips but these will never see his great power unless they consecrate themselves unto Him. Power with God begins with casting out all the Vanity , vain ambitions and looking only and only to Jesus Christ.

Today we have Christians who listen to secular music, watch sports like football, basketball and on the other hand, they profess to love God.
Be not deceived, you cannot have room for Baal and God at the same time.
Our Lord taught.

Matthew 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Jesus said that you will have to Hate one master. You will have to despise that idol with a deep Hatred so you could be yoked to Him. He called for a deep Hatred for anything that makes you so busy to pray, he said, you will have to despise it. To despise means to esteem it lowly and disregard.

Dear Sisters, I speak this is great love. You will never see God with your short skirts, trousers, makeup, wigs and false finger extensions, you will never see the power of God unless you cast those abominations out.

Let it be known that the enemy isn’t afraid on how much you fast, neither your righteousness or much prayer but he fears a man who is totally and entirely consecrated for the work unto God. This man is entirely sacrificing everything soaked into being Holy for God alone.

Beloved, Job was so consecrated that he made sure that one of his children would be a door open to the enemy.
The Bible says Job 1:5
When a period of feasting had run its course, Job would make arrangements for them to be purified. Early in the morning he would sacrifice a burnt offering for each of them, thinking, “Perhaps my children have sinned and cursed God in their hearts.” This was Job’s regular custom.

Job understood that consecration begins from the heart. He cried and offered sacrifices of brokenness in Intercession for his sons perhaps one cursed God in his heart.
A man consecrated unto God will bear a burden for those around him. The Closer Job Drew to God, the more he saw the wickedness within and thus a Cry unto Repentance continually.

Ohh beloved, if we needed to see God, we wouldn’t wink at the sins in our homes.
Some homes have the heavens closed on them for the Have abominations within these houses. Children have dresses of harlots, makeups, dolls, movies with pornography & even though prayer was given to God, God won’t regard.
Beloved, ask the Lord to open your eyes that you may see the abominations within your homes and amongst your children and seek for a consecration.
For the Lord sets apart only the Godly for himself that he will pray and the Lord will hear.
Why Consecration beloved? The scripture says that will hear when his consecrated Pray

Psalms 4:3
But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him.
These people will have an open heaven. God will hear them for they are set apart.
By consecration, God brings his awe that men sin not.
As it written
Psalms 4:4
Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah.
There’s a sweet communion with Jesus , a stillness as God moves amongst such a people.

A man cannot know God without stillness but this place of stillness is found in consecration with the Holy spirit.
A communion within this heart as God whispers his testimonies to him for he has set his heart to the Lord alone and nothing of this world makes sense for he has determined to be consecrated

The scripture teaches us that God makes a hedge around this man, the presence of God is as a fire of God’s assurance and a symbol that God reigns.

Children of God, let us return to the light of God and consecrate our hearts into the Lord. Let us know that this is where God ‘s power is seen
As it’s written
Psalms 62:11
God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.

To God belongs all the Power & Glory. Amen
