WHY THE CHURCH LOST HER VIRTUE
Whenever a girl loses her virginity, she has lost her virtue. Virtue can be explained as that precious substance in a person that comes from within. Even so, the body of Christ was called to be a virtuous bride, a great pearl valuable to her God. The church was called to be a place flowing with God’s virtuous presence and fullness in Christ.
As the prophet said;
Jeremiah 2:3
Israel was holiness unto the LORD, and the firstfruits of his increase: all that devour him shall offend; evil shall come upon them, saith the LORD.
Just as Israel, the Lord ordained the virtue of Holiness to come out from his church but sadly, the church has produced all kinds of unholiness.
The present church has a form of godliness, lots of missionary work, lots of prayer overnights, WhatsApp fellowship and evangelism but still weak to counteract the forces of darkness holding the lands because the church has lost its virtue.
Paul said;
2 Timothy 3:5
Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
A form of godliness is what many ministries display but sadly they don’t have the power there of. Many preachers are dead in sin secretly and even though they are preaching righteous words, these words are only as the wind to the listeners for they carry no virtue. Be warned preachers, holding the pulpit In hypocrisy of a secret lust is denying the virtue of Christ. You can carry all righteous speeches of love your neighbor but if you don’t love your neighbor, then you’re a liar.
The scripture says
Romans 2:2
But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things.
Romans 2:3
And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?
Romans 2:4
Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
Romans 2:22
Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege?
Romans 2:23
Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God?
Romans 2:24
For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.
I believe the greatest condemnation is that of a man who holds the name of God but lives as the devil in secret. This form of godliness that denies the power thereof denies the power of the Lord and will surely be judged in the day of the revelation of God’s wrath.
The church is lost its virtue because it has failed to judge sin in her members. Pastors are not holy and yet they pretend to present Jesus.
Trying to touch what is Holy in unholiness is deadly Saints. This is why Uzah was killed and David trembled, How can I house the Ark?
2 Samuel 6:6
And when they came to Nachon’s threshingfloor, Uzzah put forth his hand to the ark of God, and took hold of it; for the oxen shook it.
2 Samuel 6:7
And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Uzzah; and God smote him there for his error; and there he died by the ark of God.
2 Samuel 6:8
And David was displeased, because the LORD had made a breach upon Uzzah: and he called the name of the place Perezuzzah to this day.
Perezuzzah is still present to this Date not only as a memorial about Uzzah’s death at the presence of the altar but as a warning to all those who minister in the Lord’s presence in Sin.
Perezuzzah stands to date as a reminder that the Lord will judge every woman who comes on his pulpit to preach in trousers, wigs, makeup, tight clothes and the coming judgment.
A lady came to me saying, Pastor I visited this church , this church had the message of salvation but the women dressed so terribly. The pastors in these ministries will be judged for they have forgotten what he said, that the Lord will repay.
Dear pastors, Do we tremble at the thought of handling the pulpit when we are holding secret affairs with women in the church? How shall we escape such great judgment from the Lord?
After the Death of Uzzah, the scripture says,David trembled
2 Samuel 6:9
And David was afraid of the LORD that day, and said, How shall the ark of the LORD come to me?
Whenever she says, I am from the presence of God and she has makeup, high heels, expensive clothes that glitter, please she hasn’t even touched God at all for a man from the presence of God will tremble.
As it is written
Hosea 11:10
They shall walk after the LORD: he shall roar like a lion: when he shall roar, then the children shall tremble from the west.
As we are to serve God, we need to tremble. The virtue of God in your life is a result of your personal relationship with God in private. Whenever you practice righteousness in the public but deny God even in your secret thoughts, you cannot have the virtue of Christ.
This virtue is the power of God that heals them all.
The scripture says
Luke 6:18
And they that were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed.
Luke 6:19
And the whole multitude sought to touch him: for there went virtue out of him, and healed them all.
Why was Jesus able to heal them all? The scripture reports that there was virtue through him that healed them all. And so does the righteous minister of God carry virtue for he has kept his heart away from sin and he has decided to live Holy and Righteous before God.
The Lord is therefore calling us to have a righteous spirit.
Even David a man of God had once lost it, he was used to motions, he was preaching right, he was speaking wisdom until his sin was uncovered when he slept with Bethsheba
In his repentance, he cried for a clean heart and a righteous spirit.
He wanted repentance that met the root of his sin. He wanted God to plant the fear of God deep in him that he might have this virtue restored.
Beloved, God is calling us to judge the sin in our members as spiritual men examining every bit of our lives even what comes out of us. As body, if we are producing envy, hatred, jealousies, seditions, schisms, are we not carnal. God wants us decked with a jewel of a virtuous life fulfilling our duties in the fear of God.
Whether 2 or 3 Christians with virtue, they will heal them all. Let us wash our garments, confessing our sins for we lost our virtue.
God will restore the humble and repentant. God bless all.
